Diane Duane's 'The Big Meow'

Welcome to the glitzy, murky world of 1946 Hollywood, a smoggy film-noir landscape filled with glamourous starlets, flamboyantly corrupt studio heads, and wicked, pampered cats with hidden agendas; a city of unsolved murders, snoopy screenwriters, scheming PR flacks, and a shadowy, celebrity-ridden cult dabbling in knowledge better left alone -- knowledge which could destroy the world's present and doom its future, if the dreadful promise of the Year of the Black Jaguar is fulfilled...

(Want to read the full "back cover" blurb for The Big Meow? It's now over here.)

And welcome to the weblog for the online Big Meow novel project!

Twelve hours?!

Twelve hours, people? That's how long it took you to match a $1000 grant this time.

Sheesh. I think I'd better write faster. :)

We'll do another grant tomorrow. Meanwhile, those of you who want to do your whole-book subscriptions at the same time as a $10 donation to the general fund, feel free to keep doing that using the button in the sidebar. I'll put up a PayPal button for whole-book-only and chapter-only subscriptions tomorrow or the next day (I'm still ironing out software issues with e-Junkie).

Thanks, everybody!

Umm, Diane, we've been saying that for 20 years now... :-)
(snicker) Behave yourself or I'll separate you.
